About Me

I spent most of my career in the corporate environment supporting C-level executives and generally supporting the office and making sure everyone had what they needed to succeed. My partnership with executives allowed them to focus on networking with new and existing clients, major projects that increase revenue, and overseeing products and services to make sure the business stays productive.

Around 2018, one of my good friends was running her business and was feeling overwhelmed. I never had much self-esteem or felt that I was “awesome” at what I did (despite always having positive reviews and people always telling me I was at the office) but I knew I at least had the experience and skills to be able to help. After all, supporting my managers by checking their emails, managing calendars, drafting correspondence, etc. was what I had always done! As a good friend should, I offered to help! It was just something to do to help out a friend but it allowed me to kick off my own part-time work.

Prior to 2014 or so, working remotely was not common place where I worked - especially for the admin staff. It was something we did in emergencies only. When I had my last child in 2015, I was able to work at home in order to stay home a little longer than the time off I was provided. That was such a blessing and was my first taste of working at home! Thankfully the pandemic of 2020 came along and forced us all to go home and proved to everyone that employees can be productive from home (sometimes more!). While the pandemic came with it’s own set of struggles (virtual kindergarten anyone?!), I was happy to not have to return to the office once everything started opening up again. Balancing work and home life was less of a challenge while working at home. I could better stay on top of my laundry (my least favorite thing!), cook when I wanted without feeling rushed or eating super late, get my son to sports practice on time, and so much more!

In October 2023, I was laid off from my corporate job and decided this was my opportunity to stay remote full-time! I decided to add personal assistance to my services since it is really the same services I’ve always done, but for individuals instead of business owners. Assisting others gives me a sense of purpose and makes me feel successful!

When I’m not working I am likely busy taking care of my family. My husband Anthony and I have three children so I have plenty going on! We enjoy going to the beach, visiting relatives and taking as many trips as we can to our home away from home, Disney! ❤️ 🏰 🧚🏼
